Kim Kardashian does a Blooper in California Tourism Commercial

California’s 2012 tourism commercial is out and it has been garnering a lot of attention. I must say that it truly is one of the best ones in years. Yes, many in the other states do think that California is different. But the way it is put in the commercial has ended up with a slight amount of hiccup. I wonder whether the director has noticed it.

It is all fine in the middle, but Kim Kardashian in the beginning gives it a nice boost of turn off. Just hear what she says.
“People have a lot of misconceptions about California, but none of them are really true”
This is grammatically incorrect. Here is the meaning of misconception:
What this means is that “none of them is true” was not needed in the line. Next, look at the book she is reading. It is called The Joy of Quantum Physics. I searched for it everywhere, but simply cannot find it.
I will simply say that the book is hundred percent fake. Third, why is she reading this kind of book near swimming pool?
Last, her accent is embarrassing. It is used mainly by high school girls. Yes, it is true that she still looks quite young, but this does not mean she can hide her age. She is 34 years old.

Do we Californians act like rock stars? No, not really, but I admit that many among us are very stuck up. Does the state have many whites as shown in the commercial? Not near the bay. But the inland does look like middle America.
