Eczema is one of the most annoying skin diseases. But it can happen to anyone at any age and that is also just about in any country! Even after the eczema goes away its scar remains stuck to the skin. This can seem like an alarming problem because its shade is usually different from the original skin color. But to be honest, worrying about it is just a waste of time.
The reason behind this is that eventually the eczema scar goes away. Trust me, it is true. I experienced it. I had a huge one in my leg. I got the eczema when I was 10. The itch was too much to bear. It got a little bit too painful because my mom was trying over it natural medications upon recommendations from her friends and relatives. They did nothing. The eczema left on its own while its big mark remained. I was not worried much about it. But now when I look at that specific area of my skin I see nothing.
So how many years did it take to go away? I would say 6 to 7 years. Formally, much depends on the deepness of the scar and how we treat that specific area. Exposing it to sun too often will mean slowing down its process of disappearing.
