It is usually seen that many women see Vaseline as a cheaper alternative to real liquid makeup remover. Yes, such a product definitely wipes gets rid of makeup well, but at the same time, it might cause some harm to the skin. After all, it is a greasy substance! The problem is that it has a tendency to clog the pores. Unfortunately, scrubbing hard is the only way to get rid of the Vaseline grease and that is an extremely harsh treatment on the skin. Have you ever heard of Phisoderm anti-blemish facial wash (commercially spelled as pHisoderm)? If no, you need to check it out. I first bought it to just wash my face. But once I discovered that it removed makeup better than my Estee Lauder makeup remover, I could not resist getting devoted to it. But there is a trick to making Phisoderm work. Just follow the given steps:
1. Apply a small drop of the face wash to your face like you normally wear your moisturizer.
2. Then simply use a clean napkin to wipe it off. Start from your eyes. First, wipe off the eye makeup, and then target the lipstick you have on your lips followed by the blush and foundation. I really do not need to explain everything here because as soon as you will rub off the eyeliner and eye shadow you will be surprised by Phisoderm. It seems to face no problem in taking off water proof eyeliners and mascara.
3. Wash your face with water. When you do this step, keep your eyes closed because you do not want the face wash to get into them. It actually gives them irritation.
4. Last, pat dry. A look in the mirror will help you notice a glow you will have on your face by now.
As I mentioned before, I am using the anti blemish version of the Phisoderm face wash. If your skin is not sensitive you do not require going for it. Phisoderm actually has many cleansers designed specifically for different skin types. So do a research to find out which one of them will best suite you.
Now you must be wondering where to get this product and what its price is. Well, it should be available in most drugstores and its price should not exceed $7. I actually get mine from Rite Aid. Last time, I paid something like $4 for it. In California, currently, the prices of things keep going up and down. So I never get the product at a constant price.
Overall, Phisoderm face wash gels and cleansers are quite powerful in what they do. They are affordable and greatly beneficial.Yet remember that to get full benefit from them, you have to apply the steps given above.
