How You Can Easily Make Your Own Slushie and Icy Drinks At Home

Are you one of those people who go to Starbucks to spend something like $5 on a slushie? Don’t do this. Save this money by making your own slushie at home. Yes, it is possible and for this, all you have to do this is get a snow cone maker.

This machine looks like a blender, but its blade is much thicker and thus, is programmed to change ice cubes into small fine pieces. You can use these pieces to make either slurpee or slushie of your choice. Good news is that it is available at Wal-Mart and that is also under $20.

Majority of these snow cone makers come with a recipe book that gives instructions on how you can make delicious icy drinks by using juice, yoghurt, coffee and even whole milk you have in your fridge. So after buying one, you will not be left in doubt on what to do with it!

Now there is already a thing called slushie maker. I would not recommend getting it because it is slightly expensive. Of course, if you are okay with spending more money you are free to buy it. But snow maker seems to be the best option, for it is more affordable. Interestingly, it makes things fun in the realm of juice. So even if you hate drinking you will not be able to resist what it provides. Yet one thing you must know is that the ordinary straws do not fit slushie drinks. So you have to make sure that you get the fatter ones like those found in 7-11 and Starbucks. Additionally, if you do not have ice cube trays or a fridge that makes ice cubes your snow maker will become useless for you. The reason is that it just crashes ice into fine pieces and you have to provide it from ice cube tray or fridge.

This post is not intended to promote any specific brand, but to show how you can save your money by making your own slushie at home while avoiding Starbucks.
