Strawberry As a Teeth Whitener Is Abusive

Strawberry whitens teeth. This is nothing new. Several times, it has been written that to make it happen, one needs to brush her teeth with mashed strawberries.  What they do not tell is that this will lead to some abuse!

Strawberry is sour. Thus, the more you will put it in your teeth the more you will end up souring them. This, unfortunately, will give you discomfort. Additionally, brushing can create accidental cuts here and there in your mouth. It sometimes happens.

The problem is that strawberry juice is acidic. Of course, it is the healthy kind, but you really do not want it in your cuts. Otherwise, you will end up with bitter irritation in your mouth.

Time for the Truth:
You really do not require brushing your teeth with mashed strawberries. The truth is that eating most fruits is all you need to clean and whiten up your smile. Some examples include apples, guavas and pineapples. Even your dentist will agree me on that.

You can also eat strawberries. Of course, there is nothing wrong with that, but don’t forget to cover it with whip cream. Now if you are really into brushing your teeth go for baking soda or buy a tooth whitening paste.

Warning:
Don’t brush your teeth constantly. Otherwise, you will end up hurting the flesh that holds your teeth firmly. This can actually result in weak teeth especially after you start to get older. Decay is another problem that can occur.

Tips:
When you pick a toothbrush make sure it has zigzag bristles. This will help you clean the hidden parts of your teeth.  Additionally, after drinking coffee and black sodas like Pepsi and Coca Cola rinse your mouth with plain water. This will not only keep your teeth white, but will also prevent decay from the sugar.
