Eye shadows enhance the beauty of eyes. They make us look sexy, mysterious or simply elegant. Today, eye shadow pallets contain almost every color imaginable. But does this mean that you can try out all of them?
Apparently, if you know makeup tips and tricks you will be able to benefit from all of them. In other words, they need to be combined with other colors to give the perfect look to the eyes. But one new to makeup might have the feeling that each color has the power to go solo.
Let me explain it with a short story. A few years ago, my best friend got interested in wearing makeup. So she thought to buy some cosmetics from Macy’s. She asked me which eye shadow brand would be better. I recommended her Mac. She went to its section and began picking different colors of eye shadows. She was excited, but at the same time doing something terribly wrong. She picked yellow and light brown colors. On seeing it, I told her to decide carefully. But she did not listen. She paid $13 for each. At the end, she found out that she shouldn't have really bought them!

What went wrong?
Yellow and light brown eye shadows cannot go solo because they resemble the color of our skin. Wearing them equals to not wearing anything.

The biggest culprits are the glitter free yellow and light brown eye shadows. They just give eyes a cakey look. But this is not all. The color yellow specifically is related to clowns and circus. So when it is on your eyelids it can send an odd message to people around you.
